The Law & Mediation Offices of Carolyn M. Laredo are situated in New City, in the County of Rockland close to the Palisades Parkway and Interstate 87. We specialize in mediating conflict as an alternative to costly, stressful and time-consuming litigation. We are convinced that mediation provides individuals with a healthier and less adversarial approach to problem solving. Individuals will be able to learn how to use conflict as an opportunity for personal growth and to implement necessary changes in order to prevent similar conflicts from reoccurring in the future. Carolyn Laredo has an established Divorce Mediation practice, where she confidentially assists disputing parties in negotiating their own agreements. At the Law and Mediation Offices of Carolyn M. Laredo, we are able to guide you through your decision-making process. We will define issues and reduce obstacles in communication in order to create a customized agreement specific to each party's needs. We will work to resolve whatever conflicts you may be facing, at a fraction of the cost you would spend on litigation in the Courts. At the Law & Mediation Offices of Carolyn Laredo we provide trainings for various organizations and municipalities covering mediation skills, statutory and other areas including Anger Management, Sexual Harassment, Team Building and Diversity. Carolyn Laredo also teaches in a number of Graduate Programs at several New York State colleges. She is also a workplace mediator for the United States Postal Service, Arbitrator for the New York State Workers' Compensation Board and Administrative Law Judge for New York State Liquor Authority.
